OSA recognizes the importance of those who one day will be leaders of the Optics & Photonics industry. The goal of the OSA Young Professionals (YP) Program is to support and assist those in the industry who are early in their careers and within three years of their advanced degree. This online groupsite allows YP members to discuss career issues, ideas, events, and best practices for sustaining OSA and the industry. Through the network, young professionals function as an international team, maximizing the impact of local initiatives while also creating international events to serve the needs of today's young, global member.
